Diana Buckner, Chairwoman for Ely Shoshone Tribe. Strong, Independent. Served on the Tribal Council since 2017 and as Chairwoman since February 2018. Key player in the Collaborative Agreement with Barrick Mine, land transfer of over 2800 acres to Ely Shoshone Tribe, and supporter of cannabis programs. Often heard saying “I want no more than anyone else but also no less”.
