Native American Heritage Month Spotlight on Professor Myrton Running Wolf

Dr. Myrton Running Wolf is an Assistant Professor of Race and Media at the University of Nevada.

Raised in Northern Nevada, Dr. Running Wolf is of Blackfeet descent. Dr. Running Wolf is a film, television and theater producer. Following descent with David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Terrence Malick (The New World & Soldier), he has uses dynamic storytelling, humor, and spectacle to explore controversial topics.

With a doctorate from Stanford University, a master’s of fine arts from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, and another master’s degree from NYU’s Tisch of the Arts, coupled with behind-the-scenes work in Production Management at Disney ABC Television Studios, Dr. Running Wolf contributed to the success of numerous award-winning feature films, primetime network television series, and live theatrical productions
