Sari Nichols

Sari Nichols is honored to return as the Program Officer for the Nevada Indian Commission. Sari is responsible for overseeing the Indian Commission’s grant projects and working with the Stewart Indian School facility’s manager on Stewart campus-related projects. Sari is a Nevada Veterans Service Advocate and proudly supports Nevada Tribal vets. From 2017 to 2020, Sari was an Executive Officer for the Nevada’s Indian Territory, the non-profit arm of the Nevada Commission on Tourism, acting as both Secretary and Treasurer, and continues serves on the Father’s Day Powwow, and Color Fun Run committees. She has lived in Carson City most of her adult life.  Sari received her Bachelor’s in History Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a master’s degree in English Literature.
